We are looking for an exceptional candidate to lead and further develop a small team which provides an effective and efficient rent and service charge service across LHP. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £36,504 to £42,946 depending on experience.

LHP manages nearly 12,700 affordable homes and offers a range of other services to support people and communities across Lincolnshire. LHP was created in April 2018 following the merger of two established Lincolnshire social housing providers.

As a charitable community-based organisation we channel profit back into services and projects that benefit our customers and local neighbourhoods.

Rent & Service Charge Manager Role:

- You will ensure the annual rent setting and service charge review process is completed in line with agreed timescales and approved policies.

- Line manage the rent and service charge officers, including ensuring the effective and efficient working of the team

- Oversee team responses to rent and service charge queries, the setting of new build rents property sales queries.

- Oversee the implementation of the rent review and service charge modules on our new Housing Management system  - Aareon QL

- To be an integral part of the team working towards a consistent service charge policy across LHP.

As our Rent & Service Charge Manager you will need be:

- You will put the customer at the heart of everything they do, and be able to build and maintain effective working relationships

- 2 years relevant experience in social housing, specifically in relation to rent setting and review and service charges in a social housing environment

- Be AAT qualified as a minimum

- Experience of working in the Social Housing sector

- Can demonstrate the LHP values

- Experience of managing, developing, and motivating a small team

- A good personality, gets on well with others, makes the workday fun and enjoyable

- Positive attitude and demonstrates resourcefulness

- Good analytical skills

- Ability to be clear and concise in written and verbal communications

- Ability to manage, influence and negotiate effectively

- Excellent time management skills and appreciation of the importance of deadlines.

- Computer literate with demonstrable knowledge of spreadsheets

- Understanding of relevant legislation and/or regulations
