We're seeking a motivated and inspirational Senior Development Manager to be responsible and accountable for the Development Management of one of the largest housing sites in the country. Latimer will act as Master Developer, with the Senior Development Manager leading the project through an outline planning application in response to the Councils Development Plan Document ("DPD") and then through into delivery.

Working closely with and reporting into the Director of Development and the dedicated Project Director, the role will also involve the management of Development Managers or Assistant Development Managers as well as contributing into wider business initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record working at Senior Development Manager level with a range of real estate industry experience including extensive residential experience, as well as:

  • Substantial experience leading the planning process to successful outcome
  • Substantial experience in managing commercial appraisals to deliver commercially viable projects
  • Substantial experience in developing implementable masterplans for large scale housing led development sites.
  • Demonstrable experience in effectively managing a team
  • Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
  • Motivated by delivering sustainable, safe and high-quality homes and communities
