EastEndHomes is an award-winning community-based housing association with a unique service offering!

We own and manage around 3,800 homes in the East End of London and we are unashamedly community focussed. We don’t have a call centre – we know our tenants do not want one – and we have no intention of centralising housing services. We are a TPAS accredited landlord and we believe resident engagement starts from being truly embedded in the communities we serve. Tenants voted for their estates to be transferred to EeH many years ago because we offered local housing services provided from convenient offices based on their estates. So, that’s what we do and how we intend to continue!

But we are also ambitious for our community and have a development pipeline of new homes, affordable homes and a housing capital investment programme of over £33m in the next 5 years.

We are now looking to fill this new role of Deputy Managing Director, and we are looking for someone who shares our community ethos and commitment to providing local and accountable housing services.

Although you will be directly responsible for corporate services such as policy, performance review and governance, we are also expecting candidates to have a solid background in housing management and the leadership skills to work closely with our Managing Director in running all aspects of the business.
