What you'll do

If you’re enthusiastic about providing a comprehensive housing management service to our customers in designated schemes, then join Optivo as a Partnership Manager. The Partnership Manager’s role is to lead, manage and inspire teams of officers to deliver a high quality, high performing service.

You’ll take ownership and responsibility for the Partnerships service including performance management working with the Head of Partnerships to set and consistently meet challenging targets. You’ll also monitor effectiveness against Optivo’s performance management framework and take appropriate action, as well as leading on budget setting and monitoring expenditure including rents, office charges, service charges, allowances and dilapidations.

Within your role you will have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of systems, processes and procedures aimed at maximising service efficiency and improving the delivery of the service. You’ll be customer focused and pride yourself on delivering the best service which embraces.

What you’ll need

You’ll have proven experience within supported housing and/or housing management experience, or worked in a housing environment in a capacity which involved leading teams, as well as service improvement. You’ll also have experience of working in partnership to generate joined up solutions to problems

You must have the ability to manage time and tasks effectively, work well under pressure both individually and in a team to deadlines, delegating appropriately, and be able to develop and review Policy and Procedures regarding Agency Managed schemes and contracts.

You’ll be a great communicator, and able to form relationships with a wide range of people, from residents to other support providers in order to generate effective solutions to problems. You’ll put residents at the heart of what you do, and be focused on delivering excellent service with a ‘can do approach’.
