Part Time – 25 Hours
Connect Housing is looking for experienced and enthusiastic people who are committed to working with young people to improve their life chances. The role of Housing Support Coach would be working primarily in our Accommodation Services at Swan Lane, Huddersfield, with cover also at Hollinbank, Heckmondwike.
Joining us as a Housing Support Coach, you’ll provide empowering and sensitive support to service users, developing personalised practical support, assistance and activities tailored to individual’s needs.
You’ll have experience working within a housing / support environment, your insight and empathy are part of your passion to deliver excellent services that really do help people change their lives. You’ll understand the issues and challenges faced by the project’s service users coupled with demonstrable experience of identifying and manging solutions, which at time can involve a level of risk.
This would be working to a four weekly rolling rota which would include two or three weekends out of four. As such, this is an excellent opportunity for those who prefer a varied work pattern and not the usual nine to five lifestyle.
