Project Lead – Take Notice (Mental Health Recovery Framework) - Full Time, Temporary (1 Year)

We currently own and manage over 6000 properties, support over 1600 vulnerable customers in care and supported housing projects and employ nearly 500 people.

We are looking for a Project Lead, 5 days per week to manage our Take Notice Project. You will work alongside 2 other Project Leads to manage the Project.

Take Notice is a flexible Mental Health Service, which works with people living in Sheffield, who are in receipt of a personal budget. Our starting point is helping people ‘Take Notice’ of where they are and where they want to be, then work together to develop their plan and identify what support they need. South Yorkshire Housing Association is a listed provider on the Sheffield Mental Health Recovery Framework.

This is an important and rewarding role, the successful candidate must have excellent administration, communication, and organisational skills. We are looking for someone that demonstrates, enthusiasm, innovation with a flexible approach to problem solving and making decisions. With the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. If you believe that you have the leadership skills and determination to work in a Mental Health, Recovery Focused Service and can play a vital role in delivering a high-quality service and developing our staff team, then we would like to hear from you.

The key areas of the post are the day to day management of the service and this will involve: -

  • Providing sound leadership to ensure staff are clear about their respective duties and responsibilities. Providing the support, the staff need to carry out their roles efficiently.
  • Have a good understanding of person centred, strength based, support provision and achieving excellent outcomes.
  • Maintaining excellent communication with customers and representatives, staff and other health and social care professionals.
  • Providing excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
  • Ensuring that all aspects of health and safety are managed effectively and working to the legislative requirements.
  • Leading on and overseeing the scheduling and delivery of support hours
  • Ensuring quality assurance systems and processes are followed
  • Ensuring that data performance is accurate and evident.
  • Promoting the service and managing referrals into the service
  • Managing staff capacity and ensuring staffing resources are at a suitable level.
  • Being responsive to customer’s change of needs and identified risks.
  • Monitoring the performance of the project to deliver high quality support to customers within budget.
  • Assisting the Service Managers in implementing service delivery changes.

Starting Salary: Starting salary of £29,058 plus generous holidays entitlement and benefits (Pro-Rata)
Working Hours: 37 hours (5 Days Per Week)
