About the role

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant to support the Energy & Sustainability Team to regulate and monitor the energy used in the organisation.

You will cover a range of energy-related activity including remote monitoring of locations controlled by heating controls, managing data and information around energy management and carbon reduction activity. Acting upon enquiries arising from utility contracts, monitoring metering and billing to ensure this is accurate and supporting delivery of Anchor Hanover’s Environmental Strategy and the wide range of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives this encompasses.

About you

We are looking for a good communicator with a strong level of literacy and numeracy, and excellent data management and analytical skills.  

You will need to have a technical understanding of heating systems and their controls, able to demonstrate a good understanding of buildings energy usage, utilities and renewable technologies. Experience in an energy related role is desirable.
