The Role:

A vacancy has arisen in the Developer Finance team for a Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant or finalist to help deliver accounting support for THT’s development pipeline which currently comprises of 28 schemes, including a number of joint ventures.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

• Production of accurate monthly management accounts and forecasts in line with agreed timescales
• Assist in the development of the annual budget, working with budget holders to determine phased income and expenditure budgets
• Review and challenge budgets and forecasts from budget holders where necessary
• Production and review of month end balance sheet and I&E recs making adjustments where necessary
• Responsibility for a portfolio of schemes, providing accurate and comprehensive financial support to Developer from the early stages of development through to completion
• Production of KPI information including monthly reports, dashboards, assisting in the production of Board papers, variance analysis and other commentary
• Management and development of Assistant Accountants

• Strong IT skills
• Management skills
• Ability to translate technical concept and provide specialist guidance, training and advice to others.
• Detailed understanding of the statutory and regulatory framework relevant to your role
• Experience of working in Housebuilding is desirable although not essential
