About the role

The Lettings team consists of 64 people all working collaboratively to deliver an amazing customer focused lettings service. You will lead a team of 9 people, Lettings Officers and Assistants who between them let around 70 homes per month. The team have developed an amazing lettings experience by making it easy for customers to do business with us through mainly electronic communication and by having a warm and friendly approach that’s designed to get things done. 

Your key responsibility will be to lead, guide and manage the Letting team to deliver a market leading lettings service across a wide geographical area. You will need to be a motivational leader of people with the ability and confidence to manage and develop the team, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer outcomes. You must be a strong negotiator and be able to influence stakeholders whilst maintaining a warm and friendly approach.

About you
We know how we do things is just as important as what we do, so you’ll not only be an engaging leader with excellent housing knowledge, but you’ll be passionate about what Guinness are here to do. You’ll also be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of managing, coaching and motivating teams in a fast-paced high-performance culture.
  • Experience of delivering high levels of customer service to a diverse range of customers through others.
  • Experience of managing and coaching performance and getting the best out of individuals and teams.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to plan and work effectively without high levels of supervision.
  • Ability to plan and work collectively with peer Letting Team Managers ensuring both teams and national KPIs are met
  • Experience of building relationships with external agencies.
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
