Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with Gloucester City Homes (GCH) in order to recruit a Head of Finance. To support these ambitions, we are looking for an exceptional Head of Finance who will hold true to our values of pride, integrity, quality and innovation whilst managing the delivery of a customer-focussed finance service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Role:
You will work closely with a highly regarded Executive Director of Finance in order to develop the finance team and provide strategic insight to develop the wider organisation.
Duties will Include;
- Provide resilient leadership and management to the Finance team
- Be responsible for the delivery of financial processes, reporting, and external audit
- Ensure budgets are appropriately prepared and support the delivery of our strategic aims
- Create effective and collaborative partnerships with colleagues across GCH
Person:
The Successful Candidate;
We are looking for someone who can lead and develop the Finance team, providing an excellent service to GCH and our stakeholders. You will most likely have experience of working in social housing finance and understand the financial issues of working in a regulated environment.
You will give confident and clear leadership whilst you motivate, encourage and challenge your team to take ownership of their work and go the extra mile.
In addition, you will hold a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and have a relevant leadership or management qualifications.
