Hyde is one of the highest performing and largest housing associations in England and we own or manage 50,000 homes in London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, the East of England and the East Midlands.

Hyde’s rich history is one that we are proud of.  Whilst remaining true to our heritage, our focus is now firmly on the future, and we are excited and inspired about what this holds for our customers, Hyde and the social housing sector.  When we launched our 30-year strategy in April 2020, we put a stake in the ground:  we want to create a truly customer-driven organisation and provide modern, energy efficient and safe homes that meet people’s needs in the long term.  Our strategy is about recognising the role we can play in improving people’s life chances and creating social value for individuals, communities and society as a whole.  To realise our ambitions, we have to adapt and change our homes and adopt new ways of working and financing; but this is driven by our vision to provide a great home for everyone.

We are now recruiting for a new Board Member and Member of our Group Housing Service Board. Our priority is to continue to provide excellent customer service against a backdrop of significant challenges in the sector. It is an exciting time to join us, Hyde and the social housing sector is experiencing substantial change and you can help shape this. We are particularly interested in attracting individuals with senior executive or non-executive level experience, who have delivered excellence in customer service through multiple channels. Ideally you will have worked in large, complex and highly regulated businesses where the customer is central to all you do. We are looking to attract high caliber individuals who can bring a blend of professional and strategic skills that will ensure that we achieve our mission and continue to mark us out as a key influencer in our sector.
