As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and further enhancing web applications, mobile apps and portals to support business needs.

If successful the main duties of your role will be:

• Provide 3rd line technical support for applications developed in house as part of the app development process.

• Develop expertise of the Rapid Information Systems Low Code platform, currently in use in the organisation.

o Provide third line support to maintain BAU activities

o Identify and develop mobile, business-critical applications using Rapid

• Bring knowledge and experience of JavaScript frameworks to improve user experience by further enhancing the existing software code.

• Build APIs and/or standard interfaces for the legacy applications/database systems and provide expert advice on further system integrations. Automate existing workflows and implement email notifications with report attachments and similar activities.

• Work on technical evaluation for systems being assessed for procurement. Develop Technical Design documents and work with the Project Managers to develop schedules. Work with the Business Analysts on the technical feasibility of proposed application solutions.

• Actively participate in the business analysis, user research and project management of both work streams. Participate as an active developer and code reviewer to ensure high quality of deliverables.

• Work closely with other teams in scheduling work on systems development. Ensuring all work is carried out and documented and following required specifications, standards, methods and procedures.

• Ensure planned maintenance, patching and software release processes are in place for Lewisham Homes bespoke software systems.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
