Dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour is key to this improved service, so we have expanded the team to focus on this and created a new role of Tenancy Enforcement Lead. For the role we seek an ambitious, confident, and assertive individual who will contribute towards creating a positive impact to the way we provide our service to our customers.

The Role of Tenancy Enforcement Lead might be challenging, yet at the same time rewarding as you can observe a positive impact that your work has. You will achieve this through several activities and tasks. This may include leading investigations and managing high level ASB reports, preparing witness statements and legal packs for court cases and keeping track of upcoming pending evictions. You will also support our Local Housing Managers through ASB cases and assist them with sustaining customers tenancy. You will also be responsible for liaising with authorities and investigators in order to investigate cases such as tenancy fraud and closing ASB cases.  This role will be covering the Surrey and Hampshire area.

What you will need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to deal with difficult situations as well as distressed people and quickly escalate situations. You will have to be concise and have an eye for the detail especially when it comes to collecting witness statements and evidence. To successfully complete your tasks, you will have to be confident and be able to pursue, collaborate and finish the tasks that are in front of you. This is especially necessary when you deal with cases such as tenancy fraud, supporting victim’s family or ensuring that the conflict does not escalate further in the communities.

The nature of this role means that the post holder will be involved in regulated activity with vulnerable adults. To meet our commitment to providing safe, high quality services to our customers we will complete an basic background check with the Disclosure and Barring service. Once an offer of employment is made. A new check will be completed every three years.

Training on the role

There is ongoing training provided due to nature of the role to ensure your skills and knowledge are always up to date with current situation. But it is highly beneficial if you have some previous experience in dealing with complex situations, going to court, and gathering evidence.
