Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? Don't miss out on this apprenticeship opportunity! We're looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for engagement with young people and wider communities to complete a 12 month apprenticeship with our Clarion Futures based in Birmingham.

About the role

We'll look to you to provide administrative support to the Age-friendly Communities team and wider Communities team in based in Birmingham, but as an asset to all Communities teams.This will involve correspondence with all stakeholders via email and phone; inputting data on spreadsheets; managing invoices and budget sheets. You'll also support the promotion of youth & communities initiatives through creating publicity material, writing case studies and updating social media channels.

Other responsibilities will include:-

  • Building a rapport and trust with partners and stakeholders, Clarion Futures colleagues and internal and external communication departments to support them with their approach to media and communications strategy.

  • Meeting with partners regularly to help them write press releases and case studies, take photographs and generally promote the good work they are doing.

  • Helping to plan and run events by organising venues, delegates and logistics of the day.

  • Representing Clarion Futures at events, when required and with support.

About you

We're looking for a proactive and enthusiasm individual with a flexible approach. You'll have an interest in young people and community engagement. You'll need good written and verbal communication skills as well as good organisation and planning skills.

Experience of engaging in young people's services or experience delivering youth services is also desirable.

About the apprenticeship

We offer the opportunity to study for a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship which will take up to 16 months to complete and study for your NVQ qualification. You'll develop new key skills and behaviours which will support your personal development and progression.
