To us were not just a team we’re a ‘work family’. You will join our fabulous team of Housing Managers who cover Newcastle and West Northumberland and are committed to meeting the needs and expectations of our customers by getting out there and really delivering estate-based services. They’re a super supportive bunch with loads of knowledge and skills to help you settle into your new role. We’re also really looking forward to a return to normality and being able to see each other in person more often – particularly if it involves lunch!
You’ll report to Christine, our Operations Manager who has been at Home Group for 8 years. She is super passionate about providing the best homes and service we can and loves to go paddle boarding and running at the coast in her spare time!
Where you’ll work
You’ll work across Newcastle but you will have specific responsibility for properties in the centre of the City, Gosforth and Jesmond including some large leasehold schemes. The great news is that you will have the flexibility of working from home and in one of our local offices and we’ll give you the technology and kit to make that easy.
As a team we’re critical to supporting our customers. You’ll usually work Monday – Friday 9am-5.30pm. The good news is that you will have a degree of flexibility, as it’s the team’s unwritten rule that you attend the important appointments in life. So, whether it’s your child’s school play, your partner’s graduation, or to get your new fridge delivered we’ll work with you in what matters. When you join, you’ll need to have a valid Standard Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don’t have a transferrable one.
