- Are you able to lead an effective and proactive Finance function? Can you anticipate future financial needs, work to tight deadlines and meet with regulatory and legal requirements to make sure our financial arrangements support the organisation’s ambitions?
We are looking for our next Head of Finance to oversee our financial strategy, business planning and risk management, as well as leading our approach to treasury management including raising funds to enable us to achieve our growth aspirations.
It is a role within the senior leadership team for our organisation and is one that ensures we set the correct rents for our residents, comply with statutory financial reporting, manage our pension arrangements and have a robust value for money strategy.
The role needs someone with strong technical and people skills, and the drive and energy to take us where we want to be, whilst ensuring we remain fully compliant. Acting with integrity you will lead the Finance team and support the Board, Executive and Senior Managers by developing and implementing financial solutions that enable us to deliver our social purpose, which is embedded throughout our organisation.
You’ll be able to distil complex financial strategy into usable information and reports for our audience of interested parties including Board members, residents and investors.
Your work will affect many lives - PCH is Plymouth’s largest social housing landlord with over 16,000 residential and commercial properties, over 650 members of staff and around 35,000 people living in our homes in the city and beyond.
To be considered for this crucial role, you will need to demonstrate significant experience of leading finance teams in a regulated organisation, ideally in housing.
Your experience and skills are really important, but as important are your values - who you are and how you treat others matters to us. We want to know if you are a financial leader with a passion to do some good.
