It’s a role with meaning, so you’ll be making a real difference to thousands of customers lives with what you do.  The Market Rent and Leasehold Admin Team Leader is a vital part of the Leasehold and Market Rent team,  leading the administration team in the management of the portfolio.  Potentially, you’ll come from a housing background but Leasehold experience isn’t essential!

What you’ll be doing?

  • You’ll schedule the work for the team of administrators, ensuring effective support for all officers and team functions.
  • You’ll manage, monitor and motivate the administration team, Setting expectations, discussing performance on a regular basis creating a culture of excellence.
  • Lead the production of reports and monitor data systems for accuracy
  • Provide excellent customer service to all queries or requests for advice
  • Support colleagues as the first point of contact for escalated customer, solicitor, estate agent and managing agent queries.
  • Clearly communicate with all team members to provide assistance and support to ensure the smooth administration and support delivery.
  • You’ll improve existing processes and develop and implement new processes as needed.

The stuff that sets you apart?

This role would suit someone with people management experience in relevant setting along with a professional qualification or experience in administration management.

You’ll need the ability to produce complex reports and be able to analyse data.

You’ll be confident using IT operating systems and IT applications along with excellent Microsoft Office skills.  You’ll need to be at least intermediate with Excel.  Also your written, numeracy and verbal skills will be outstanding.

You’ll be passionate about data and have the ability to think strategically to reach targets and deliver high performance along with being able to motivate and develop others.

Ideally, you’ll have experience of the Orchard System, marketing with digital media and other admin systems such as Jupix.  It’d also be beneficial to have an understanding of affordable home ownership products, Leasehold and Market rent schemes.

In return we offer £29,844 per annum for a 35 hour week, 25 days annual leave (raising annually to 30 days) plus Bank Holidays.
