The Role:

The Trust is looking for an enthusiastic Multi-service Operative to join our busy CleanStart team. CleanStart is Trafford Housing Trusts Social Enterprise Team. You'll be working to provide high quality cleaning, clearance and grounds maintenance, of internal and external communal spaces around our neighbourhoods. You will ensure that positive relationships are maintained with internal and external customers.

You will also work alongside other internal and external contractors where required, providing assistance and supporting visits so the ability to communicate clearly is essential. You will be required to undertake ad-hoc tasks such as changing light bulbs and fitting door handles, in addition to operating a variety of plant and equipment. There are times you may be working at heights (full training given) and assisting with movement of heavy goods. You will have experience of providing excellent customer service and have an understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.

You'll have experience using cleaning equipment and grounds maintenance machinery, be organised and have a can-do attitude. Holding a category B (Car) driving licence is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of CoSHH law and experience of using mobile devices, such as a tablet, is beneficial.
