You’ll be responsible for developing an entirely new function that impacts on every part of Trent & Dove’s work. We’re seeking a creative thinker with the ability to understand problems, decipher trends, spot opportunities and suggest strategic responses to meet the existing and future needs of our customers and local communities.

A key member of the senior leadership team, you’ll report directly to the Chief Executive and be expected to influence and effect change anywhere in the business. You’ll provide intelligence- and evidence-led ideas to modernise and improve the ways we think and work, to support better quality of life for residents and service users.

You’ll have experience of working in a busy, multi-disciplinary setting and be able to commission and handle large amounts of complex data. You’ll also have the personal confidence and leadership skills to challenge established practice and guide us to better ways of working.

We’ll expect you to show total commitment to our purpose, mission, vision and values – acting as a role model to others and helping us to grow and transform the business.

Created in 2001, we’re a charitable housing association providing more than 6.000 affordable homes for rent and shared ownership across East Staffordshire, South Derbyshire, and North West Leicestershire. We’re an organisation that’s driven to make a difference – by transforming homes, lives and communities.

We play a vital role in reducing homelessness and offer a wide range of extra support to enable people and neighbourhoods to thrive. We live and work by our values of passion, integrity, excellence, local/regional focus, people and partnerships.

We’re proud to be part of the PlaceShapers network of more than a hundred community-based housing providers, committed to a wider role for housing in health, education, skills, employment, inclusion and protecting the environment.

We aim to be a great place to work – providing competitive rewards, flexible working options and opportunities for every member of our team to achieve their potential.

To apply:

  • provide an up-to-date CV which includes your contact details, education and vocational qualifications, any memberships of professional bodies, career history and current package.
  • Enhance you application with a brief supporting statement setting out why you are applying, drawing out of your CV any relevant experience that equips you for the role and why you think you might be the best candidate for Trent & Dove. The information in your statement, and the way in which it is presented will form a key part of the shortlisting process.
  • provide contact details for two professional referees, one of which is your current or most recent employer. References will only be sought with the agreement of the appointee.
