We are looking to recruit an Income Recovery Officer (internally you’ll be known as an Account Advisor).

As an Account Advisor, you will sit within our team at Partners for Improvement in Islington. Partners, is a long term partnership with Islington Council where we are responsible for working with sub-contractors to maintain and manage 6,500 homes in Islington.
This role would be responsible for managing the prevention and recovery of rent arrears, service charges and other debts for all tenure types (to include but not limited to Rent accounts, homeowner accounts, sundry accounts) in an efficient manner in accordance with Policy and Procedure providing a professional and proficient customer-focused service to the PFI residents. You will regularly liaise with internal and external stakeholders to help residents meet their lease tenancy obligations.
- Previous experience of working in arrears collection/support, for rent and/or service charges & major works
- Understanding of social housing/tenants
- Customer focused and able to handle challenging conversations
- Organised and ability plan own workload
- IT proficient
- Strong negotiating skills
- Robust enough to escalate any problems
- Ability to tailor communication to meet target audience
