Job Details

As a Project Worker (night only) you will ensure all residents are accounted for and the building is safe each night. You may be able to sleep for the majority of your shift however you are required to deal with any emergency that takes place on site. If a resident needs support or there is an incident, you will be expected to deal with this and handover all relevant information to the day staff so they can continue to monitor/manage the situation. Building checks may be required throughout the night depending on the status of the project.

  • Do you have previous experience of working in a similar role or the passion and desire to work with vulnerable and complex young people?

We currently have a great opportunity for a Project Worker – Night Only to join us on a permanent basis.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Do you have what it takes?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To succeed in your role as a Project Worker you will:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


  • Commit to working regular shifts from 11pm – 8am

  • Ensure all residents are accounted for each evening or reported as missing to the Police if required

  • Ensure ad hoc support is provided to residents should they require it throughout the night

  • You will ensure all reports of anti-social behaviour are investigated & dealt with appropriately

  • You will conduct regular building checks to ensure the safety of residents

  • You will respond to emergency situations as required

  • You will ensure that all health and safety requirements are met

  • Bring a discreet and sensitive approach with strong professional boundaries and be able to confidently deal with tense and difficult situations.

  • Commit to work overnight.

  • Have an understanding of safeguarding.
