Here at Stonewater, we are now looking for a Customer Partner (Property Condition Specialist), to deliver frontline housing management services to our general needs and leasehold customers.

You’ll be confident to manage complex and challenging property condition cases, working closely with our vulnerable customers and in partnership with external stakeholders. You’ll think innovatively of new ways to manage property condition and low-level hoarding cases and be a champion of Stonewater’s tone of voice, providing a first-class customer service that makes customers feel respected, valued and listened to. You’ll provide customers with a customer journey that is efficient in terms of delivering resolution and next steps and be responsive to changing customer needs, being compassionate and managing challenging conversations with customers who may be experiencing hate crime, domestic abuse, current and past trauma, complex financial issues and a range of complex experiences.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a background in housing, with knowledge of housing advice, housing law etc.
  • Have specialist knowledge and experience of managing complex property condition and hoarding cases with customers who may not wish to engage.
  • Be customer focused with high level communication skills.
  • Have positive influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Have experience of Safeguarding and managing cases involving people who may have a range of specialist and complex needs.
  • Have knowledge and experience of working with other agencies, obtaining support and funding to support with property condition cases.

Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
