We have a vacancy in the London Older People's Services (OPS) team for a Scheme Coordinator. This is a part-time (21 hours per week), 7-month Fixed-Term Contract which is site-based role operating at one of our schemes in the London Borough of Redbridge. 

The suitable candidate will have significant recent experience of providing front-line housing management and support services to older people, ideally within an accommodation-based/residential setting. Experience/knowledge of welfare benefits, dementia, aids and adaptations and other issues commonly affecting older people and their housing would also be desirable, as would a sound understanding of risk management and best practice in the area of safeguarding adults.

An Enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this role, and the successful candidate must agree to referral if required prior to an offer.

The core working hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9am - 5pm, though some flexibility can be considered for the ideal candidate.

Pro Rata explained: A ‘pro rata’ salary is calculated from what you would earn if you were working full time. You will be paid a proportion of the displayed full-time salary.
