We are an ambitious, forward-looking Council recently recognised as being outstanding to work for by Best Companies. Our key corporate priorities are equally as ambitious and complex as we move forward at pace with a range of housing development and regeneration projects.
Does our ambition match yours?
Are you up for a challenge with outcomes that will help deliver a real difference to our residents and our district?
We are looking for a highly driven, experienced Programme Manager to join our Development Team, working in a matrix approach across the wider organisation to ensure our ambitions can be realised.
You will have responsibility for the development of our programme management framework approach to high-profile projects, including training and support to our individual project leads and ensuring best practice. You will be our lead professional with oversight to ensure outcomes are delivered within a robust governance arrangement whilst being on time and within budget.
Ultimately, we want you to be our key source of knowledge bringing our key corporate projects together to ensure that the critical inter-dependencies are recognised.
You must have relevant qualifications and experience of working in a programme management environment delivering housing and regeneration schemes, as well as excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills, with the ambition and drive to work at pace across a number of key corporate projects.
We operate a fully agile approach to the way in which we work, encouraging home working wherever possible, to ensure a healthy work life balance. All we ask in return is a willingness to attend council premises or project sites if required, along with attending some evening meetings.
If we have caught your interest and enthusiasm in this role, please ensure we receive your application prior to the closing date – Monday 15th November 2021 at 12pm.
Interviews at our offices in Folkestone are likely to take place during the weeks commencing 22nd and 29th November 2021
