The role and person

  • Part Time /12 month FTC
  • 17.5 Hours (flexible days/hours)

The post will support the Group Treasury Manager as a key point of contact for lenders, bankers and external treasury advisors.

The post holder will be the primary owner of the Accent treasury management system, associated treasury activities and the intelligent security management tool and database (currently AssetCore). The ongoing reporting and development of treasury management and cashflow forecasting with the Group are key aspects of the role.

Outcomes Sought:

  • Work with colleagues across all aspects of the business to prepare and monitor cashflows of varying length
  • Support with the preparation of the 60 month cashflow for forecasting purposes
  • Lead on the integration, ongoing maintenance and reporting from the Accent Treasury Management tool, currently under assessment / procurement
  • Maintain, develop the AssetCore intelligent security management database ensuring Accent achieves best value from the tool and reports are developed and circulated as appropriate across the business
  • Maximise the reporting functionality of Assetcore and ensure trustee and funders needs are met in terms of security reporting on a timely basis
  • Support with the forecasting for and drawdown of loans to include maintenance of records and audit trails.
  • Assist in year end queries relating to Treasury and Assetcore activities
  • Ensure all interest payments are paid and received on a timely basis
  • Maintain and update bank and fund mandates as required
  • Support in the maintenance of the documentation library for loans to enable staff to readily ascertain the nature of any particular funding arrangement and any special features attached to that arrangement.
  • Support with the maintenance of good funder relationships, including responding to requests for information promptly.
  • Fully understanding and ensuring all funder requirements are met by Accent as stipulated by funders agreements.

The added extras

  • Treasury management experience
  • Awareness of funding streams and cashflow management
  • AAT or higher accountancy qualification (or willingness to study)
  • Housing Association finance experience or awareness

Should you wish to work occasionally from any of our regional offices, you may do so on a hot desk basis which will need to be arranged via our online booking system.


The spot salary for this post is £14,000 (FTE £28,000) per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all of the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
