This is an exciting time to join the Partnerships & Development Team at Hull City Council as we continue to deliver our housing growth programme.

About us!

The Partnerships and Development Team are responsible for the delivery of our ambitious Housing Growth Plan which has delivered 500 modern new Council homes since 2015. In addition the team have facilitated the delivery of over 1700 new mixed tenure homes across the city in the last 4 years through existing strategic development partnerships. The current five year programme 2019-2024 will see a further 434 new Council homes delivered and work will continue to bring forward modern new homes as part of our strategic regeneration and growth plan in the city. We are also looking to the future as we explore ways to decarbonise our new homes to provide modern new sustainable homes.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a driven person to join our team and add value to our exciting development programme. You will have experience of delivering new homes, housing led regeneration and development. You will possess an understanding of the planning and development process and have the ability to appraise the viability of sites. You will have knowledge of and understand the relevant external environment and the impact on our delivery plans. You will also have experience of working with communities and possess strong partnership skills. 

Your background could be in residential development, construction, planning or urban regeneration. You will also have the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and possess strong project management and partnership skills. You will deliver projects under your own initiative, whilst part of a supportive team.
