Your new role

We’re excited to be looking for a new Fire Technical Manager to join our busy Customer Safety & Fire programme delivery team.  To make sure our customers continue to receive a service second to none – and we need you!

You’ll ensure our customers’ wellbeing remains at the heart of everything we do. It's our priority that they’re supported throughout tenancy, homes remain safe and managed to the highest standard.  

You'll be based either in Eastleigh or Yeovil and you'll work in an agile manner covering all locations. 

No two days will be the same in this role so enthusiasm, a can-do attitude and a genuine passion for always wanting to go the extra mile will be essential. You will take ownership of managing the delivery of Fire Risk Assessment action improvement programmes across Abri's geography by:

  • Provide leadership and management to a high performing, remote working delivery team.
  • Ensure effective implementation and delivery of fire stopping, compartmentation and improvement work programmes as defined by our FRA recommendations. 
  • Ensure the integrity of work and data is captured and upheld via ongoing inspection & auditing.
  • Foster a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure fire and building safety requirements are clearly understood, communicated, and adhered to ensuring a safe environment is achieved.
  • Ensure value for money through the quality of stock data and dynamic work scheduling.
  • Provide regular Assurance reporting for work programmes and budget spends.
