YMCA Thames Gateway is recruiting for a Bank Housing Night Support Worker to join our progressive housing team. You will offer essential first line help and advise residents on any pressing issues.

The Bank Housing Night Support Worker will be responsible for all aspects of resident and staff security whilst at work, ensuring that only authorised persons are in the building. You will ensure that the buildings are secure and house rules are followed in the building and communal areas.

 

You will have experience of working in a residential environment with young or vulnerable people and have knowledge of the security issues that may arise in a residential setting. 

This Bank Housing Night Support Worker role is based on a casual agreement which predominately requires cover for staff absences such as holiday, sickness, training or peaks in demand. Hours will be offered to you as and when required, depending on the needs of the service however this role will be based over the evening and night rota.

If you have experience of challenging behaviour and knowledge of de-escalation techniques then you may just be the person we are looking for.
