We are currently looking for two Support Officers to join our dynamic team in Ashford and Swale.

Clarion is offering an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to build a career working for one of Europe's largest housing associations. Alongside providing general needs housing, Clarion also delivers support services to some of the most vulnerable people in society. The role of Support Officer whilst challenging at times, is an extremely rewarding one.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you need to have a good understanding of social care sector including housing and homelessness, ideally having previous experience in a similar role. We're looking for people who have the qualities and skills we feel would most benefit our clients; professionalism, empathy and understanding, and a desire to develop their own knowledge and skills to best support our clients.

As a Support Officer, you'll support customers who are moving on to view properties, sign new agreements, access welfare benefits, set up bills and access the resources they need in their new home. You'll be required to signpost and support customers to access additional external housing support and resources including: local authority housing teams, private landlords, Benefits Agency, Shelter, Citizen's Advice. Working for Clarion as part of the Kent team you will be delivering exceptional support services to our customers.
