About the role

This role operates in our Health, Safety and Facilities Team, supporting the safe, smooth and seamless running of our office buildings mainly in York.

Management of our four office spaces needs to be well planned, coordinated, and regularly monitored and reviewed. This is an essential role in making sure we operate effectively, making this role primarily based in our offices with occasional working from home.

It is an exciting opportunity to get involved in a varied team, with no two days being the same. Operating in a changing environment, you could be planning and implementing small projects, conducting reviews of support services, performing health and safety checks, coordinating contractors or gathering feedback from our internal stakeholders.

About you

We are looking for an individual who has experience in facilities management.You will be effective and efficient, an experienced problem solver who is highly organised and flexible.

Your customer service approach will be positive, diplomatic and supportive.You’ll be used to building relationships and dealing with stakeholders at all levels, managing differing needs.

You’ll be skilled at managing multiple workstreams and priorities and be an effective communicator within a busy team.

There are some hands-on aspects to this role such as ordering and restocking supplies and maintaining the tidiness of shared areas, someone who enjoys the variety of this would be a great asset.
