In our new Strategy Lead, we are looking for somebody who will bring to life our policy and research programme to support the delivery of our Corporate Strategy.

We are looking for somebody to support the Assistant Director – Strategy and Communications to articulate our vision and inspire our colleagues and stakeholders based around a desire to use data and insight effectively. The scope of the role includes the management of a grant programme to support projects and services in communities where we work, and the development and coordination of our environmental sustainability strategy. 

 

To be successful in this role you will probably work in or have a good understanding of social housing in a policy or public affairs role, either in social housing or a related sector, and your own horizon scanning skills, and, ideally, you will have a track record of developing and managing new and existing stakeholder relationships. 

 

You are likely to be able to demonstrate experience or ability in :

  • Public affairs and stakeholder management.
  • Understanding of how to use data from a range of sources to research key areas of policy and practice which provide actionable insight and recommendations.
  • Strategy and plan development and reporting at a corporate level.
  • Demonstrable leadership ability.
  • Experienced in developing and motivating a team.
