Join this innovative social business as Commercial Investment Business Partner and use all your specialist financial expertise to evaluate and enable the Group’s future development.

Raven is a business with a clear social purpose: building homes and changing lives in Surrey and Sussex. We aim to be an outstanding provider of homes, a cornerstone of the community and an innovative employer.

As Commercial Investment Business Partner, you’ll support Group financial and commercial planning through evaluation of emerging business development initiatives, investments and major operational changes – as well as the business partnering of the Development and Commercial functions to ensure alignment with the financial plan and strategic intent.

Playing a key financial specialist role within the team that drives our Development and Commercial agenda forward – including an expansion of market sale portfolio – you’ll have accountability for the financial analysis and modelling of new development projects and the overall commercial strategy of the Group.

With an accounting qualification (CCAB) and preferably a business qualification, your track record should include development finance, business partnering and statutory accounting. Specifically, you’ll need SDS ProVal, Sequel, and advanced Excel skills, with experience of creating complex financial modelling and of NPV and IRR calculations. Experience with SUN accounting software and Brixx would be desirable.

Highly creative and proactive, you are technically and analytically strong, with good powers of influencing and diplomacy, plus the ability to lead and play your part in a multidiscipline team. You should also share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively and caring about making things better.

We support and trust our staff to work as a team and be their best. We offer competitive salaries and benefits, a great pension scheme, paid holiday and sickness benefit, plus support for further training to develop your skills and career.
