We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us in our new role of Development and Delivery Manager for our supported and specialist housing. This is a fantastic opportunity to really make your mark, delivering our specialist housing development programme, including new build, refurbishment and ad hoc acquisitions. You’ll be managing and delivering projects from start to finish which will include supported housing and individual homes with adaptations for our customers who have complex support needs. You’ll work alongside our Operations and New Models of Care teams to deliver a product which supports their areas of the business, helping Home Group to be a market leader in the provision of high quality homes for our customers.
Carefully managing income and expenditure, you’ll deliver our schemes against key performance targets and successfully manage relationships with developer and contractor partners. You’ll be working across a number of projects including site identification, project appraisals, completion of legals, planning permission and site handover right through to the end of the Defects Liability period.
This is a brilliant opportunity to deliver our supported housing programme that will make such a big difference to our vulnerable customers lives.
You’ll be reporting to one of our Senior Supported Housing Development and Delivery Managers, working alongside John our Head of Property Development in a team which is passionate about delivering the highest quality home for our customers.

A bit about you
It goes without saying that you’ll have experience within the housing sector, project managing high quality new homes across multiple sites. You’ll have a good understanding of the commercial aspects related to supported housing developments alongside a knowledge of the planning system and project management. You’ll have a fantastic track record in implementing complex sites successfully, on time and to budget. You’ll impress us with your strong project management skills, eye for detail and organisational skills, effectively managing contracting partners to implement compliant, design led schemes.
