A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Manager to work within the Asset Management & Operations team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all statutory compliance obligations and requirements across BCH are met and consistent with up to date legislation, health and safety and best practise in relation to Asset Management, Responsive and Void Repairs, Gas Servicing, Asbestos Management, Water Hygiene, Fire Safety, Electrical Safety, M&E Installations and any other health and safety legislation.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated and have experience of working in a Health and Safety and/or Compliance environment. We require a highly motivated individual, good communicator and negotiator with enthusiasm and the ability to work with Clients, Contractors, Consultants and Stakeholders, contributing to the delivery of an excellent service. An understanding of current health and safety legislation, working procedures and a variety of building surveying techniques, practices and procedures is essential.
You must have an approved H&S Qualification at degree level or equivalent, Site Management Safety Training and a P405 Asbestos Management Qualification. The successful applicant must hold Full UK driving licence. Any offer of appointment will be subject to satisfactory clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) standard check (formerly known as a CRB check).
