The Vacancy

We want someone to Lead a team of Community Safety colleagues delivering a comprehensive service of support and advice as well as taking a lead on any tenancy related legal processes.

 

The role will be responsible for the effective day to day operational management of the Community Safety Team. Providing a vitally important service to the wider group helping to mitigate any risks posed to our business, and always looking to develop and maintain effective housing management knowledge and promote successful tenancies and sustainable communities.

 

We want someone who is a passionate and diligent leader who can help Platform Housing Group deliver the best service to our customers and wider Stakeholders. As Community safety manager you will investigate and respond to complaints or concerns and work to resolve councilor and MP enquiries, always promoting best practice across the wider business areas.

 

Can you?

  • Ensure effective, robust and responsible people engagement and development
  • Ensure colleagues are working within legislative, regulatory, policy and procedural requirements and are equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver an outstanding tenancy and neighbourhood management service for customers.
  • Embed customer consultation and involvement, promoting a variety of engagement methods and encouraging feedback and Community Champions in conjunction with the Community Engagement Team
  • Promote safeguarding, and domestic abuse awareness and effective case management in the team and across the organisation
  • Actively monitor performance against targets and take corrective action where required
  • Identify and highlight any emerging or new risks to the Head of Localities and wider Localities Team, working collaboratively develop a plan detailing the risk and how it is to be mitigated

     

 

This role is home based but will require operational travel, therefore the successful candidate will need a full driving licence. 

 

Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will be subject to a DBS check prior to commencing the role
