We are looking for an Management Accountant (1 post) to join our Finance & Analytics team team in either Liverpool or Manchester.

In this role you will provide support to the Finance Manager in providing a wide range of financial services including monthly management reporting, performance reports, annual service charge statement production, budget production and monthly meetings with stakeholders.

You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts information, service charge budgets and reforecasts and monthly robust variance analysis reporting specifically for service charges across Onward within agreed deadlines. You will assist the Finance Manager to deliver a management information reporting service to a high standard and be responsible for a team of 3 Assistant Accountants to include monthly one to ones and appraisal reviews supporting the team as needed.

In addition, you will be responsible for working with the Finance Manager to create and develop management information reports which will aide the Business Partner to support budget holders to effectively manage and monitor their budgets. You will also support the annual audit process specifically for service charge year end.

It is essential that you are Association of Accounting Technician Qualified or CCAB part qualified or equivalent, or are working towards an Accountancy qualification (ACCA, CCAB, CIMA). Some experience of service charges and line management would be useful but is not essential.
