We are looking for an Assistant Accountant (1 post) to join our Finance & Analytics team team in either Liverpool or Manchester.

In this role you will provide support to the Management Accountant by providing a wide range of financial services specifically relating to service charges across Onward to include monthly management reporting, variance analysis, performance reports, budget production and monthly meetings with stakeholders.

You will be responsible for annual service charge statements, month end journals and reconciliations and take appropriate action to ensure completeness and accuracy of monthly management information and year-end financial statements within prescribed timescales  In addition, you will assist the Finance Manager and Management Accountant in the delivery of a management information reporting service to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.

It is essential have you have GCSE Mathematics or equivalent and desirable for you to have a willingness to study for a recognised Accountancy qualification
