This role is currently based from home due to COVID 19 until further notice. Peabody plans to move to a hybrid model of working which means that once our office refurbishment has been completed, the role will be part office (Waterloo) and part home based

An exciting opportunity has come up for a Business Support Assistant to join the team for 6 months as part of the Kickstart Programme.

Departmental Responsibilities
To work with Peabody central staff and Community Programmes staff to administer Health & Safety, Management Committee, KPI, contract, and data processes.

To provide an efficient and customer-focused administrative support service to Communities staff. 

Role Specific Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate projects. This will involve scheduling meetings, obtaining inputs, distributing materials, managing action logs, and taking minutes.

Data Administration

  • Support data collection by coordinating, compiling, and reviewing inputs from PCF staff and stakeholders.
  • Administer tracking systems.
  • Manage and support the updating of various file systems.

Improvement Projects

  • Support process improvement projects by developing materials, clarifying guidance and details, and formatting materials.
  • Support data management improvement projects. This will involve data entry, tracking down missing information, and supporting the development of improved systems.

General Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative support to staff. This will include organizing and supporting meetings, formatting documents, converting documents into different formats, organizing surveys, and making purchases.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience in an administrative role supporting multiple teams
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to exercise good judgement
  • Proven time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to learn about new IT systems and become an expert user in those systems.

Desirable

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft software, specifically Microsoft Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and Word.
  • Experience carrying out data administration activities.
  • Experience supporting communications and fundraising activities.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract and for 25 hours per week. You will initially be working from home.

1. Be between the age of 16-24, living in England or Wales
2. Currently receiving Universal Credit
3. Have the right to work in the UK
