Peabody are looking for an experienced part-time (18.75 hrs per week), Team Manager on Fixed-Term Contract until the end of March 2022, at our Chelmsford vulnerable families and single people’s homeless services. Offered as a secondment opportunity for current Peabody employees.

As a pro-active, assertive manager you will motivate, develop and coach staff to provide excellent quality support to our customers, plus, in partnership with Housing Management Teams ensure our customers have access to good quality, safe and secure accommodation.

 

You will be compassionate with excellent communication skills; able to positively respond to and implement change and possess a natural talent in building excellent partnerships with both your staff and a range of community partners including housing teams.

 

As a natural problem solver, you will identify and implement improvements to service delivery and will possess excellent knowledge and understanding of the issues facing single homeless people and vulnerable families including housing management practices and housing/tenancy law. You will inspire innovation within services to help support our customer’s positive journeys to settled housing and independence.

 

A flexible, fair and consistent attitude is required, including high-quality staff management, organisational and report writing/Key Performance  Indicator (KPI) reporting skills. You are able to positively represent us organisationally and champion safeguarding and equality and diversity.

Motivation, dedication, compassion and the ability to do what is right are key attributes of yours.

Due to our locations drivers are required for these roles with their own mode of transport. 

 

Some evening/weekend working may be required and involvement in our on-call rota is essential (which will include an extra payment).
