Job Details

We are looking for people who are positive, kind and caring and be focused on encouraging choice, self-worth and supporting our customers to get out and about enjoying some new experiences in the local community. We are recruiting a full time, permanent Care Support Worker to our Registered Care Home based in Thurrock Essex.  You will be supporting people who have learning and physical disabilities who will depend on you to provide a high standard of support to meet their individual needs.

Our Customers have lived in our service for many years, they are all individual and deserve to have a person centred approach to their support, we need people who impact and inject their lives with joy and happiness.

Please note this role involves personal care (including personal cleaning, supporting to have meals and manual handling).

The successful candidate will need to be flexible enough to work across a 24/7 rota (example of shifts 07.00-14.30, 14.30-22.00 and  22.00-07.00). Driving is not essential however is an added attribute as our customers have their means of transport to access the community.
