Are you an experienced, talented Business Intelligence Developer looking for a new and exciting challenge? Are you interested in working with the very latest technologies in Azure?
We are looking for an enthusiastic BI Developer to join the Data Engineering Team on a permanent basis.
About the role
In a nutshell, you will be responsible for designing and engineering elegant, efficient & robust solutions to transform raw data into insight-ready outputs. You will be working with a variety of cutting edge technologies and will be part of a friendly and collaborative team that are passionate about data & technology. This role reports into the Data Warehouse Manager.
Some of the main duties include:
Design and engineer elegant and performant BI solutions using existing and emerging Azure technologies (including Power Apps/Power Automate), in line with industry best practice
Work closely with the wider Data Engineering Team (including Business Analysts) to ensure changes are implemented in line with business requirements
Support the BI Platform / Infrastructure, including undertaking troubleshooting, detailed investigations and fulfilling BAU requests
Ensure changes are managed effectively, with appropriate task and project planning, communication, testing, training and logging via DevOps
Create, maintain and release SQL solutions using DevOps / Git
About you
To be considered for this role, you'll come to us with solid experience in:
Developing enterprise Data Warehouse/Database solutions using T-SQL (e.g. Azure SQL DB)
Dimensional/Data modelling
Query optimisation
Developing solutions in Azure Data Factory and SSIS
Developing with Visual Studio 2019 and DevOps/Git
Developing Power Apps/Power Automate solutions
You will be an excellent communicator and have exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills. You'll be able to work to tight deadlines be able to pick up new technologies with ease.
