We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Manager to join the IT team and enhance our service offer to our customers.

You’ll lead our team of Systems Analysts to manage and develop our core business applications (Cx, Unit 4 Business World, Keystone, 1st Touch, DRS and more). You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of systems from procurement, through to implementation and live support.

Job Description

  • Salary £39,340 – £42,425 (starting salary up to £40,964 dependent on experience)
  • 37 hours per week
  • 27 days holiday + bank holidays + 4 SYHA days (extended bank holidays)

More about the role:

Main Purpose

  • Lead the Business Systems team who are responsible for providing support, management and improvement of core business applications

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the function delivers excellent customer service and technical expertise.
  • Work with the IT management team to develop and deliver a Business Systems roadmap of upgrades, improvements and implementations
  • Change management, release management and robust testing of key systems
  • Work closely with key business stakeholders to ensure systems are optimised and deliver on the operation and strategic requirements of the organisation
  • Plan an active part in the strategic planning and budget setting across the IT and Business Change function
  • Actively manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure we get the best from our contracts
