About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for Financial Reporting Accountant to join our team in London on a 12-month contract basis.

The successful candidate will assist the Senior Financial Accountant to deliver a high-quality financial reporting service in accordance with agreed timescales. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: preparing consolidated and individual statutory accounts, supporting the preparation of year-end audit files for Group entities, support the preparation of tax returns including monthly and quarterly VAT returns, supporting with the day-to-day liaison with external audit, supporting on continuous improvement projects on financial controls and tax processes, and assisting in the completion and submission of ad-hoc requests for analysis.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced finance professional who has food attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet agreed deadlines. In addition to this, you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Recent experience of statutory financial reporting and audit either in a practice or industry role.
  • Proven experience of leading on the preparation of financial statements for audit and the application of accounting standards.
  • Experience of reviewing and analysing financial information and reporting on results.
  • Experience in intercompany accounting and reconciliation.
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
