Job Details

We strive to create a great environment for you to work in, which includes offering all the important things such as:

  • a competitive salary  access to the Social Housing Pension Scheme (or life assurance cover for colleagues who chose not to join)  35 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays  Generous sickness-absence, maternity, maternity-support (paternity) and adoption leave entitlements  Free SOLO Medicash membership providing access to a wide range of health care benefits 24 Hour, free and confidential access to our Employee Assistance Programme for you and your immediate family

But we also recognise how important life outside of work is too. This is why we are committed to agile working and supporting colleagues to maintain a good work/life balance, so that you don’t miss out on what matters.

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst with excellent technical, analytical and communications skills that has a reputation of delivering a high standard of customer service.

You will be joining a small, ambitious team that is responsible for providing Business Information and analysis to the Organisation, supporting the Business Intelligence Manager as we embark on a BI transformation project.  The aim of the project is to ensure that we have the correct Data Governance, BI frameworks, and tools in place to support the Organisation’s data insight requirements into the future.

As we implement the project, you will be involved in the setup and management of the new ETL tools, a data warehousing solution, and the implementation of a contemporary business intelligence dashboarding tool. You will then be responsible to the ongoing development and maintenance of the full BI stack.

Additionally, you will be supporting business stakeholders with more complex requests for data and insight that are beyond the scope of the front-end reporting tools, whilst continually developing self-serve solutions.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a keen eye for detail, be result orientated, be able to build excellent relationships with key stakeholders and have proven technical and problem-solving skills.

Experience of data warehousing and ETL tools and concepts are essential skills. You should also be proficient at manipulating data with SQL. Knowledge and experience of modern data warehousing platforms and BI tools would be a distinct advantage as would knowledge of the key concepts of data governance.
