Reporting to the Regional Community Investment Manager, the purpose of this role is to engage, support, and empower communities experiencing multiple barriers. The work of this post holder will shape local plans to build appropriate infrastructure to address local inequalities. The post holder will work with internal and external colleagues to ensure that community needs are fully addressed utilising relevant specialist support and baseline data to inform the development of success measures in each local area.

What you'll need to succeed

We need an individual with experience of community development who can build trust with local communities to empower them to thrive. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and facilitation skills and experience of delivering hard targets within a performance driven environment. They will have a track record of supporting communities with multiple issues and barriers and of providing coordinated holistic services with a good working knowledge of the issues affecting those who are living in social housing. In addition, they will have experience in developing funding proposals, commissioning partners and using insight to inform their work. This is a values driven role and you will need to bring enthusiasm and passion to make a real difference for our residents and communities.

To meet our commitment to providing safe, high quality services to our customers we will complete a standard background check with the Disclosure and Barring service, once an offer of employment is made. A new check will be completed every three years.
