Rooftop Housing Group are now looking for a Team Leader to promote a positive, high-profile image and develop the North supported housing and extra care services. Demonstrating vision, you’ll identify and initiate new ideas, provide creative, flexible, and responsive leadership and ensure that quality is at the heart of everything to ensure successful and positive outcomes for customers.

You’ll oversee a Volunteer Coordinator, a Supported Housing Officer, a Senior Support Worker and two Extra Care Officers, ensuring that the team are focussed on great customer service, undertaking effective, outcome focused support work, and keeping comprehensive and accurate records. You will take overall responsibility for the effective management of services, including Health & Safety compliance and ensure the team have the support, resources, and information to deliver the service safely and effectively.

About you

We’re looking for someone who has experience of working in a customer care setting and of effectively leading, managing and motivating a team. With a strong customer focus, you’ll have knowledge and understanding of the needs of vulnerable people and be able to develop clear action plans, ensuring their successful delivery. You’ll have excellent problem-solving skills and be innovative and creative in identifying and implementing service improvements.

We need our Team Leader to be able to set targets and monitor and evaluate individual performance. We also need you to be able to manage service performance in line with targets and KPIs and be able to apply people management policies and procedures.
