We have a fantastic opportunity for an; experienced, organised and motivated individual to join our Living Well Team as an Independent Living Manager.

 

You will oversee and lead the day to day function of all aspects of Village 135 extra care and the Independent Living services. These services focus on supporting our customers, enabling them to live independently at home, helping to build healthy, strong, successful communities that will make this part of Manchester one of the best places to live, work and play.

 

This exciting role supports the overall vision through effective management and strategic direction within the area and is a key part of the team driving growth and development of our services.

 

You will work closely and collaboratively with other Managers, departmental leaders, and their respective teams, have the skill to develop and implement exciting new and existing services along with our customers, managing expectations but flexed to meet local needs.

 

If you have;

  • Operated at a management level within an extra care/supported environment
  • Experience of leading successful multi-disciplinary team
  • A strong understanding of current legislation and best practice in relation to the Care Act and Safeguarding
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering a high performing service
  • Experience of budget setting and financial control
  • Experience of designing and shaping service
