Estuary’s new Director of Built Environment will join at a time of real change and opportunity, and will play a vital and strategic role, right at the heart of our organisation.  This is a wide-ranging role that offers the ability to shape Estuary’s approach to our existing estate, as well as our future growth.

With around 4,600 properties, 300 people and a turnover of £41m, Estuary Housing is a vital provider of social housing across Essex, the three outer East London Boroughs and in the Suffolk Coastal District.

We are committed to the provision of good-quality housing to meet local needs, and this new Director will have the opportunity to make a huge and positive impact, with a broad brief looking right across asset management and major works, safety, sustainability, growth and development. Our Director of Built Environment will provide energising leadership to a strong and committed team of 25 people, and be an integral part of our Senior Leadership Team, working closely with our CEO and newly strengthened board, our CFO and Director of Customer Services.

We always say that ‘our People are Estuary’, and we are proud of the dynamic and purpose-driven culture we are building. The last year has shown how agile, committed and adaptable our workforce really is, and how we can deliver results during challenging times. It will be exciting to welcome someone into this role who will enjoy and enhance our core values of Excellence, Care and Innovation.

We would like to encourage people with a senior-level track record in strategic asset management roles in housing to come forward for conversation about joining our team.

Saxton Bampfylde Ltd is acting as an employment agency advisor to the Estuary Housing on this appointment. For further information about the role, including details about how to apply, please visit www.saxbam.com/appointments using reference JAOAZB. Alternatively telephone +44 (0)20 7227 0880 (during office hours). Applications should be received by noon on Thursday 20 January.
