We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate Manager to lead our Community Engagement Team and help deliver on several exciting projects we have going on throughout the midlands

This role is based in an exciting team who are working hard to build valuable relationships between the Group, our customers and community stakeholders. We are looking for someone who can take charge and help to lead the team to be innovative in our work with communities, to co-create services and explore new ways to collaborate with the wider business and customers. As our Community Engagement Manager, you will oversee the development of relationships with community stakeholders, including elected members, statutory and voluntary organisations across the group’s operational area, looking to increase opportunities for collaborative work and promote health and wellbeing initiatives to support our customers

What we are looking for in you

  • Proven ability to work with external stakeholders, such as local authorities, to deliver programmes and schemes in partnership
  • Track record in managing and inspiring people around you, always looking to upskill the wider team and increase confidence in the team to achieve the tasks and goals set
  • Previous experience within housing would be advantageous but not essential, we want a people person, someone who can draw on experience and guide teams across a wide geographical area towards their goals and help to promote best practice
  • Champion the use of digital methods of engaging with customers and implement ways to tackle digital exclusion.
  • Experience in managing budgets and working towards strategic goals is essential

 

Due to the nature of the role a full and valid driving license with access to a vehicle is essential.

A DBS check will be carried out before commencing employment in this role
