Golden Lane Housing have an exciting opportunity for a Development Manager based in the South to lead, identify, develop and implement existing and new business opportunities.  

Golden Lane Housing are going an important and critical phase of our development journey. We are looking and energetic and dedicated individual to support on delivering our ambitious growth plans.

You will support the Head of Development to implement our development strategy throughout the South regions.  

Each year we house over 250 people and now we are looking for a new development manager to help us continue our great work.

The role will be home based and ideally you should be based in South regions to enable the delivery of development opportunities in the South. The role will cover Golden Lane Housings, South Regions and will lead a dynamic and a dedicated team.  You will be required to travel to undertake the duties of the role and you will be required to meet with colleagues, tenants and stakeholders. 

Within the role, you will:

  • Be responsible for the development and delivery of the regional growth plan
  • Be proactive and confident in your approach to identify and exploit new opportunities across the region -  creating new relationships and nurturing new ones to generate new business
  • Be responsible for ensuring financial targets in relation to income and expenditure for all new services are managed efficiently and within budget to ensure long-term sustainability of new services
  • Create and build relationships with key external and internal stakeholders to ensure longevity of existing business along with new growth and development opportunities
  • Lead on commercial negotiations for leases, acquisition of land and property purchases
  • Nurture existing and create new relationships with commissioner authorities, developers, investors, support providers and other relevant stakeholders
